Master thesis in Technology, A2E

An independent project is a project where you will apply your in-depth knowledge, skills and approach to an issue in the field of the education. Often, the independent project is at the end of your education where you will plan, conduct and present an academic study. Your project will be published publicly.

Information from the course leader

Welcome to the course! When you apply for an independent project course, you will be conditionally accepted. In order for you to be registered, the course leader needs to check that you have the right prior knowledge for the specific course ("at least one course relevant to the subject of the independent project") and that it is possible to offer supervision within the subject in at hand. You are therefore recommended to contact the course leader or a potential supervisor in good time before the work to discuss your choice of subject. The notification that you have been conditionally admitted is not a guarantee that you will be able to complete the course.

Make sure you choose the right independent project course for the degree you want to take. The independent project course follows the normal study periods, but if necessary, it is possible to start the work at other times by making a late application for the course.
