Study and career guidance

Last changed: 04 December 2018

The study and career counsellors can act as your sounding board and as someone to talk to when thinking about your studies and your choice of career.

We are here to support and guide you, whether you are thinking about becoming a student or you already are one. All study and career counsellors are bound by the principle of  confidentiality. We strive to take the student’s personal situation into account while at the same time take all factors into consideration when we act.

Study Guidance

Drop in for study guidance

During drop in hours, we are only able to answer short questions of a more general nature.  If you need more in-depth study guidance, we recommend that you make an appointment with a Study and Career Counsellor.

Drop In

Welcome to visit us during Drop in hours if you have short questions of a more general nature.
Monday, Wednesday 12:30-13:30 in Alnarp och Umeå.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:30-13:30 in Ultuna.

Private conversation/guidance conversation

A guidance conversation can help you to sort your thoughts and see what other routes and opportunities there are to achieve what you want. The aim of the conversation is to provide you with better conditions for making your own decisions on issues relating to your studies and your career. A guidance conversation may touch on many areas of life, so it is important to know that the study and career counsellor is bound by the principle of confidentiality.
