At the Alnarp campus, the main activities concern landscape architecture, horticulture, plant production, agriculture and silviculture in Southern Sweden. Two of SLU's faculties are represented, and also several connected organisations.
The park with thousands of trees, bushes and flowers, the landscape and horticultural laboratories, the rehabilitation garden and a range of beautiful buildings, together offer a good environment for students, staff and visitors. The park is open all year round and has many visitors.
The Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Crop Production Science is mainly situated here.
Today it is a modern campus for about 2 000 students (corresponding to about 1 200 full time students) aiming for examination as horticulturists, landscape architects, agricultural engineers etc. Also, several research groups in world class work here.
Closest train station is in Åkarp, 2 km from Alnarp.
