Freestanding courses

At SLU you can read freestanding courses. It gives you as a student an opportunity to combine subjects, but also to choose a specialisation.

Prerequisites

It is important to check the syllabus so you meet the prerequisite requirements. Most courses require that you have read a certain number of higher education credits in the subject area to be eligible.

Courses within programmes

Higher education courses within the Master's programmes are sometimes given as free standing courses. These courses require that you already have graduated from a basic level education within a specific subject. Remember to check the syllabus so you meet the prerequisites for the course you are looking for.
