One Health Sweden is a network of researchers with interest in zoonotic infections. The network is supported by several universities and governmental organizations, and constitutes a sustainable intellectual platform where veterinarians, physicians, molecular biologists, ecologists and environmental chemists can interact and create synergies.
Combating and controlling zoonotic infections effectively, requires researchers to use a “One World – One Health” perspective. The principle aim of One Health Sweden is to provide a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration. The rationale is to use and collaborate within already established research structures.
