Partnering with FAO for Global Food Security
In collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) the Swedish FAO Committee invites to a special event marking 75 years of dedicated work for global food security and sustainable development.
Established in 1950—the same year Sweden joined the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)— the Swedish FAO Committee has played a vital role in advising the Government on strengthening food security, while promoting biodiversity and sustainable practices across agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.
We will come together to celebrate this significant milestone, reflect on the Committee’s contributions over the decades, and explore the future of sustainable food systems and global cooperation. The event will also mark the launch of the Committee’s new publication, Innovation and Drivers for Circularity and Bioeconomy.
