Industrial PhD student hired by Lyckeby Starch working with starch potato diseases at SLU Alnarp. Focusing on the fungal pathogen Alternaria solani.
Presentation
I am an industrial PhD student working in cooperation with the potato starch company Lyckeby Starch AB located outside Kristianstad in the North Eastern part of Skåne. I am working with decreasing the use of fungicides in the the Swedish starch potato production. I am focising on increasing the knowledge on early blight disease in starch potato. We are also developing decision support systems for early blight fungicide treatment.
Focusing on Alternaria solani and Phytophthora infestans.

Master of Engineering in biotechnology from LTH with specialization in foods.
