Mudassir Iqbal

Mudassir Iqbal
I am a post-doctoral researcher working on the biological control of plant diseases caused by pathogenic fungi, pests or nematodes. My research is mainly focused on fungal–fungal and fungal–nematode interactions in relation to plant pathology and biological disease control.

Research

Currently, I am working on biological control of strawberry diseases (grey mould, crown and root rot and anthracnose disease) on resistant vs susceptible cultivars using the beneficial fungus Aureobasidium pullulans.
