After completing the course the students should be able to:

- list the different phythormones and describe their modes of action

- describe the way plant face biotic and abiotic stresses

- describe and list molecular players involved in plant development and response to environment.

Content

The course will give an introduction on anatomy and plant development. The course will provide the students with a basic knowledge on plant -signaling, -response to stress and environment.

The course lectures, exercises and lab work cover:

- basic plant biology, including plant physiology, metabolomic, genetics, and molecular genetics
- scientific presentations, in oral and in writing
