The course provides basic knowledge in a socially sustainable leadership. This prepares the student for a future leadership role.
After completing the course, the student should be able to:
describe and explain how socially sustainable leadership can be applied
describe and explain how a company or organization can be organized to meet the requirements of social sustainability
describe and explain how, through leadership and organization, one can influence behaviours to achieve socially sustainable goals

Grading form
The grade requirements within the course grading system are set out in specific criteria. These criteria must be available by the course start at the latest.Formats and requirements for examination
Approved written and/or oral exams and presentations of projects and assignments as well as active participation in mandatory parts.
If a student has failed an examination, the examiner has the right to issue supplementary assignments. This applies if it is possible and there are grounds to do so.
The examiner can provide an adapted assessment to students entitled to study support for students with disabilities following a decision by the university. Examiners may also issue an adapted examination or provide an alternative way for the students to take the exam.
If this syllabus is withdrawn, SLU may introduce transitional provisions for examining students admitted based on this syllabus and who have not yet passed the course.
For the assessment of an independent project (degree project), the examiner may also allow a student to add supplemental information after the deadline for submission. Read more in the Education Planning and Administration Handbook.
Other information
The right to participate in teaching and/or supervision only applies for the course instance the student was admitted to and registered on.

Grading criteria
För samtliga kursmål gäller följande betygskriterier:
Betyg 5: Studenten diskuterar och problematiserar en given situation utifrån flera olika teorier och modeller. Studenten kombinerar och jämför flera olika teorier inom området ledarskap och organisation för att föreslå ett tillämpbart ledarbeteende. Studenten motiverar sina slutsatser.
(Problematisering innebär att kritiskt diskutera olika aspekter av en frågeställning. I diskussionen vägs för och emot olika lösningar. Vedertagna ”sanningar” ifrågasätts och värderas.)
Betyg 4: Studenten analyserar, beskriver och förklarar hur olika ledarskaps- och organisationsteorier kan tillämpas på en given situation eller på en situation som studenten själv formulerar.
Betyg 3: Studenten beskriver och förklarar ledarskaps- och organisationsteorier som tas upp i kursen.
Underkänt: Studenten beskriver och förklarar enbart utifrån sig egen erfarenhet utan att relatera till ledarskaps- och organisationsteorier som tas upp i kursen

För att bli bedömd på en betygsnivå, krävs att underliggande betygsnivå är uppnådd.
