​Leadership and Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Development

Subject content:


The course provides an in-depth study of organizational theory through a focus on entrepreneurship and leadership. The course uses central concepts from organization theory to understand and analyse how entrepreneurship and leadership affect the establishment and renewal of organizations at individual, group and organizational level. In particular, entrepreneurship and leadership as process are considered, as well as the interaction between organizations and their environment in the development of a more sustainable society. The student develops an in-depth understanding of how organizations influence stakeholders (customers, suppliers, politicians, advocacy groups, international actors, etc.), and how stakeholders influence organisations. The course is conducted through lectures, guest lectures, seminars and group work as well as an individual PM that synthesizes the course content.
