Environmental assessment

The main aim of the course is to provide a fundamental understanding of the concept environmental assessment. This includes environmental monitoring, data evaluation, and analysis of results in relation to ecological and chemical processes. After completing the course, students should be able to explain how cycling of the major anthropogenic pollutants influences the environment, and how anthropogenic impact for these substances is separated from natural variation. The course will also demonstrate how environmental assessment programs are planned and implemented.
