My research is about the ability of plants to deal with stress and disease. Currently we are focusing on several potato project in which new molecular tools are used and developed to make plants more resistant to disease (mainly against Late Blight, Early Blight and Blackleg). We use laboratory, climate chambers, nature and cultivated fields in our research. We are also look into general questions about plant innate immunity.
