About the expeditionen: IBTS is performed twice annualy, in the first and third quarter. The main objective is to assess populations data for fish of differens ages, especially young fish (recruitment) of commercial species like cod, haddock, herring, sprat and mackerel. In the first expedition of the year the number of fish larvae (fry) is also investigated
