For future constructed wetlands to retain as much phosphorus as possible the knowledge about the optimal size of the wetlands needs to be improved. This project goal is to develop advisory and calculation tools for optimized placement and sizing of wetlands with focus on phosphorous retention. The aim is to identify size, form and placement factors which improve the retention of phosphorus in wetlands, and visualise and communicate these factors through maps.

This project is described on the Swedish version of this page.
