Welcome to the One Health Breakfast Club November 14 between 8.00 and 9.00. You get a short inspirational talk, some breakfast, and a chance to meet and have transdisciplinary discussions with SLU colleagues. Last sign up date November 7. See you there!
Each Breakfast Club starts with a short inspirational talk and then it's up to you to mingle and take the opportunity to enjoy interesting transdisciplinary discussions and initiate new collaborations. Regardless of whether you see yourself as a One Health researcher or not, we promise that you'll find something of relevance for you. Almost all of SLU's research interests are linked to One Health!
Karin Eklöf aims to study mercury in soils, water, and biota, and how the transformation and mobilization of mercury is influenced by natural and man-made perturbations. Her main research interest is to understand how various activities in the forest landscape, such as forestry operations, wetland restoration beaver activities, influence the formation of bioavailable methylmercury and the mobilization of methylmercury from soil to surface waters and up in the food webs.
