You are very welcome to the next Crop Production Ecology seminar on Thursday the 11th of April at 15.00. The seminar will be in the Tammsalen and can be followed via Zoom, We have two exciting presentations from colleagues in Umeå and Sites.
Vallsat: Satellite-based digital tools for ley management – Junxiang Peng
The project aims to develop a decision support system for forage N status assessment and harvest time determination based on satellite data processing at field level. Hopefully, this project can increase milk production and result in improved profitability for farmers. It is also expected that the risks of nitrogen losses will be reduced with higher N use efficiency and more efficient forage production.
