The Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment will participate in a new project financed by the Swedish innovation agency Vinnova. The aim of the project is to develop digital solution for the drinking water industry.

The aim of the project is to develop tools that will facilitate the treatment of raw water by combining data from several sources, such as information about storm water, weather and the efficiency of wastewater treatment.

The project is coordinated by IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, and is carried out in cooperation with water treatment works in western Sweden and IT and technology companies.
