Lunch Seminar “A light issue: microbial impacts upon the architecture of the soil:atmosphere interface” - 17 Nov

Last changed: 04 November 2016

Prof. Karl Ritz - Soil Biology, University of nottingham (UK)

Karl Ritz is a soil ecologist, professor of Soil Biology at the University of Nottingham, UK and is the current chief editor of the journal of Soil Biology and Biochemistry. From his personal website: “One of my key concepts is that of soil architecture, and my work on visualising how soil systems are organised in space and time - both literally and conceptually - has revealed many new insights into how life belowground is organised, and the functional consequences of this for the earth system.... and all our futures.”

Please join us for a free lunch and seminar, followed by discussion.
