Multifunctional X-ray instrument for determination of structures for crystalline substances.
The XRD instrument allows to determine the molecular structures of crystals of small molecules and proteins, and also identify minerals in soil.
The infrastructure also includes three databases, EVA-12 for minerals, FindIt for inorganic compounds and Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) for organic and metal-organic structures.
