Methodology in plant biology

We have invented antisense ODN inhibition technology using whole plants or tissues for gene functionality studies (Figure 3). We have also developed the agro-infiltration method in monocots and an infiltration method of decoy oligoes for trapping transcription factors. Our purposes are to further develop those technologies and combine them as the state-of-art method for rapid studies of plant gene and promoter functions in the research of plant gene regulation.
