* On 1 January 2015, SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden integrated the subsidiary SIK – the Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology and formed a new unit within the SP Group. The aim is to create integrated and stronger expertise within the field of food. The integration means that SIK will cease to exist as a separate company, but the business will continue to be based in Gothenburg, Lund, Linköping and Umeå under the new name SP Food and Bioscience.
