Focus on Food and Biomaterials

We offer a wide range of activities ranging from very specialized in depth courses to training opportunities for general skills such as presenting research and critically evaluate others results.

A research school for food scientists and molecular scientists

FFB activities contribute to building the next generation of interdisciplinary thinkers and doers in areas of foods, biomaterials and sustainable development. We use various activities to teach you to synthesize knowledge from multiple areas to ensure your ability to integrate concepts from several disciplines to address a complex issues, and extend your collaboration networks within and outside SLU.

The research school is led by two directors of studies and our steering committee consists of senior scientists and PhD students.

Previous activities

Beside courses and seminars, study visits to Japan and China are among activities that have previously been organised by the FFB.
