About the Department of Animal Environment and Health
The Department of Animal Environment and Health consists of about 65 persons and are situated in Skara but we also have some of our staff sitting at our research farm Götala and at SLU in Uppsala.
The aim of the department is to increase knowledge about the relationship between housing, management, feeding, housing environment, animal health, behaviour, animal welfare and environmental hygiene. This will be achieved through research, education and research information.
