We are focusing on research, teaching and information about welfare and health in animals. We are interested in both the individual animal and the herd, flock or farm level, and the relationship between humans and animals.
- The Environment is linked to the housing environment of the animals, but also the working environment of the staff, human-animal interactions and the surrounding environment.
- Care is linked to human care, management and protection of animals, for the improvement of their welfare.
- Herd Health is linked to healthy animals in sustainable animal husbandry systems.
