Environmental effects from vegetarian food

In this project we will work with the scientific evidence to the Swedish World Wide Fund's (WWF) new vegoguide that will be launched in the coming years. The project includes environmental effects from the production and distribution of vegetarian protein sources in various forms, fruits and vegetables, cereals, root vegetables and more. The results will be the basis for the recommendations in the Vego-guide.

Vego-guide is developed in the project "Vego in world class - challenging myths about diet, exercise and the boundaries of the planet", run by the Swedish World Nature Foundation and the Swedish Olympic Committee. The project includes, in addition to the development of a vego-guide, education of chefs in vegetarian food and adaptation of vegetarian meals to elite athletes.
