The objective is to demonstrate a cost efficient concept for small-scale upgrading of biogas and use as vehicle fuel.
The technology implemented is based on the concept of in-situ methane enrichment and ash filter, which is jointly developed at SLU and RISE (fd JTI). The aim is to reach vehicle fuel quality ant to evaluate the energy balance and total cost of the technical system including upgrading and fueling. The project is performed in cooperation with companies, agricultural advisers and the upper secondary level school of natural resources at Sötåsen in order to facilitate that the technique can progress in the knowledge chain.
