Stay connected with the SLU Landscape Facebook group

The idea for a SLU Landscape Facebook group came from a discussion about how to help all of us in SLU Landscape get to know and reach out to each other in between more structured gatherings, like SLU Landscape days, and to feel more connected as a group despite our different geographical and organizational locations.

As it turns out, the launch of the group was even more timely than expected. Because of restrictions due to Covid-19, instead of all meeting at the April Landscape days in Alnarp we need to find virtual ways to get together and network “face to face”. The new Facebook group makes it really easy for many SLU Landscape colleagues to reach out to each other with day-to-day questions, share an idea or upcoming event, promote a vacancy or even start collaborations.

Hopefully it will create a comfortable environment for interaction and, in the long run a stronger sense of belonging. A Facebook group is a great way to get to know your colleagues in an informal and relaxed way. Like a virtual "fika table", as one colleague put it.

Are you a part of SLU Landscape, but not yet a member of the FB-group, please join us here:

Welcome and happy networking!
