European Reference Centre for animal welfare for ruminants and equines

A consortium of international partners, coordinated by SCAW, has been appointed to a European Reference Centre for animal welfare for ruminants and equines, EURCAW-RE. The mission of the centre is to support Member States in their implementation and control of the animal welfare legislation for ruminants and equines in the EU. EURCAW-RE started its activities in June 2021.
Harry Blokhuis (SLU) is the coordinator and the consortium consists of the following partners:
