During the SLU Landscape day in Ultuna in October 2023 the PhD forum organized a walking excursion with PhD-students from SOL, LAPF and IMS.
In the 1.5 hour walking excursion the participants got the chance to be paired with a(/nother) PhD-student and hear about ongoing projects and pioneering research at the institutions from young researchers with a finger on the pulse of emerging landscape perspectives.
All while enjoying the scenery of Ultuna, the campus, and the transition from more rural to more urban landscapes as we walked along the river towards Stadsträdgården and the surrounding new developments.
During the walk the participants got a chance to connect with both Ph.D.-students and other species within the kingdom Animalia and to get lost in critical reflexivity or forget all about it when touching a horses’ muzzle.
