New findings and insights in seedling types, planting techniques and soil scarification methods will be discussed and evaluated, linked to an understanding of plant ecophysiology and soil and site factors.

The course also to provides knowledge in design of regeneration experiments and the techniques in measurements of seedling vitality and growth. The chain of managements, from seed to established trees will also be part of the discussion.

Time table
The course follows the time limits of the summer semester 2019. In the early summer the field work and literature studies are made individually (own data collection in field and webinars and online assignments).
