Welcome to the VH-faculty research day on the 23rd of May 2018 at Audhumbla, VHC in Ultuna. On this day, you will have the opportunity to meet and connect with other members of the faculty. We hope that this day will provide insight into the very interesting and diverse research that is ongoing at our faculty both through the oral presentations, posters and through discussions during the breaks. All participants are invited to bring a poster to the poster exhibition. The best poster, from a PhD student, will be awarded a travel grant of 10 000 sek from the faculty. The day will end with a social dinner at Syltan/Ulls restaurant.
Apart from presentations from members of our faculty the afternoon also holds a session on “Visibility - reaching out with your research in a digital world“. This presentation will give examples on how different tools can be used for reaching different recipients and to increase the impact of your research. Moreover, even if you don’t want to use social media in your research, you will learn how large actors use data about you to create profiles of you as a researcher and how social media is used to measure impact of research on society and policy making.
