The department has the main responsibility for the undergraduate studies in animal anatomy, histology and physiology for students in all VH faculty's animal programs.
- Pet agronomists
- Animal nurses
- Educated in ethology and animal welfare
- For some of the animal-orientated subjects
- Or for a graduate in the master's program in Animal Science.
The department also provides courses for students in other faculties and programs such as the biotechnology program and the food agronomy program.
