Swedish Ecological Farmers’ Association has commissioned a report about the market for organic food in Sweden. It is a thorough analysis, concluded with practical advices to all actors about what is missing in order to get to a well-functioning market for organic foods.
Sales of organic food are increasing as never before, and the stores are starting to have difficulties in meeting the rising demand. This may partly be due to interoperability issues between different actors in the value chain from the farmer to the shop.
To help along the way, Swedish Ecological Farmers’ Association engaged Macklean Strategy Development AB, which has compiled a report that shows the unrealized business opportunities and provides practical advice to participants.
