World Heritage, bureaucrats and indigenous peoples’ knowledge

This pre-study provides a basis for a larger transdisciplinary project aiming at developing deeper understandings of the conditions for “street-level” state officials to integrate Indigenous Peoples’ biocultural knowledge in the management of World Heritage sites.

Creating platforms for advanced reflection and actively engaging state officials as co-researchers is an important objective.
