Research in Natural resource economics is wide and include in our case all that can be related to the forest.
Research in this field have a long tradition at the Department and conducted with different methods, theory bases and in different settings, collaborating with other organisations; internally as well as externally. The forest have however always been the base.

This project deals with different aspects of forming a greener society – how are policies employed to direct consumer behaviour. Two focus areas are:
1) tradeable green certificates, the renewable electricity support mechanism in the Nordic, and its market interactions, and
2), the consistency of environmental behavior over time and in different domains of life of private households.
