This research area works to collect and use data related to animal welfare on-farm, during grazing, and transport.
This work is facilitated through application of digitization, automation, and robotic tools. The focus areas include:
- Sensors, Machine Vision, IoT, AI
- Automation and on-line welfare monitoring of animal transport (dynamic routing, surveillance system)
- On-farm and on grazing field (automation in feeding, milking, welfare monitoring)
