In order to achieve the high goals of sustainability and climate impact in Sweden's forestry and Swedish energy system, our forest fuel systems must be further streamlined. A part of this is to develop smart storage and quality systems. This development is a prerequisite for taking the step in a sustainable and efficient forest-based bio economy.

The overall goal of the research education project is to analyze how storage systems and measurement systems can be designed to achieve high efficiency in the supply chain for forest fuels. The project includes studies on storage losses for different storage technologies as well as development of quality control and product control measurement systems
