Synthesis and characterization of mineral nanoparticles and nanostructures

The approaches to tailoring of complex nanoparticles and nanostructures are developed using inorganic and metal-organic synthesis.

The produced materials are successfully used in the projects dealing with water purification, separations and concentration of metals in metallurgical processes, and in development of new energy sources.

Li-ion battery electrodes were produced from mesoporous thermally robust anatase nanorods obtained in quantitative yield by a new simple one-step approach. Read more about it here.
