Future Silviculture - Reconnecting basic science to silviculture

The aim with this WIFORCE research program is to bridge basic and applied science in forest management. Research on how trees, soil, and landscapes work, is linked to research on sustainable forest management practice with the goal to advance future silviculture. The research program is located at SLU at the Department of Forest Ecology and Management in Umeå.
