Workshop towards harmonised forest monitoring and reporting

The objective of this workshop was to contribute to the development of a new legal framework for the EU. The workshop built on conclusions from Kutná Hora 2022, ongoing impact assessments conducted by the EC, and the report from the sub-working group of the Standing Forestry Committee. The focus was on forest monitoring, preliminarily linking stakeholder needs with indicators, governance, and appropriate methods for data collection.
