Research in Älvkarleby

At the Fisheries Research Station there are many possibilities for research and experiments. Here research is conducted by SLU but we welcome guest researchers from other departments or outside academia. Parts of River Dalälven, a creek with modifiable water flow and a stream aquaria suitable for behavioural studies are some of the research facilities at the station.
