Andreas Palmén is a freelance and fine art photographer based in Umeå, Sweden. The assignments are often focused on portrait, scientific and editorial photography. As a fine art photographer Andreas work with concepts, idéas, collaborations and exhibitions. Andreas has a multidisciplinary background with an MSc in population genetics and conservation biology, PhD studies in population biology and photographic training amongst other as assistant to the now U.S. based portrait photographer Jonas Fredwall Karlsson. Andreas is also represented by the picture agency Synk.
