An alumn* network for former and current students of a master's program in Environmental Communication and Management (ECM) and anyone interested in the field of Environmental Communication.

Welcome to our network

WECAN is a network for (but not limited to) all current and former ECM students with the purpose of (re) connecting, and exchanging work experiences, contacts, knowledge, and inspiration in connection to the research and practice of environmental communication. The network also offers lectures, workshops, newsletter, and more. It is open to anyone interested in the field of environmental communication.

The EC's Master's programme

This Master’s degree will help you understand and work with various communication processes in environmental and natural resource management.

Environmental Communication

Our research considers communication as the joint construction of meaning, and we conduct primarily qualitative social science research concerned with themes such as legitimacy, participation, power, resistance, conflict and learning in decision making and transformation processes.
