ESPON BRIDGES: Territories with Geographical Specificities

Last changed: 04 April 2023

The project performed a targeted analysis on how to “think and plan in areas of territorial cooperation”. The study took as a starting point the Swiss experience in defining so-called “action areas” as newforms of soft governance spaces.

The project is a part of the EU ESPON programme ESPON BRIDGES -
Balanced regional development in areas with geographical specificities(ESPON - European Spatial Planning Observation Network).  Read more on the ESPON BRIDGES website ».
