Work description: Lars Lundin is Professor in soil science with special direction on soil hydrology. Research is directed on hydrology and hydrochemistry in the forest landscape and on wetlands and especially the functions of peatlands. Activities also include monitoring of forest ecosystems, soils, hydrology and hydrochemistry. Earlier being coordinator of the Swedish Integrated monitoring programme and chairman of International Cooperative Programme on Integrated monitoring (ICP IM) within the LRTAP Convention. Internationally EU projects have concerned European monitoring and catchment functions in relation to soils, hydrology and wetland ecology with restoration perspectives.
