Geochemical laboratory
The laboratory works with chemical analyses of freshwater. We strive to make a good estimate of the actual concentrations of chemical substances in the environment and thereby gain knowledge of the situation.
In total, about 15 000 samples are analysed and quality assured every year. The analyses are on commission from eg. the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, County Administrative Boards, Municipalities, The Swedish Geological Survey. We have a modern and efficient laboratory with a long experience on sampling and analyses of inland waters. We have high demands on the quality assurence to ensure the quality of data delivered from the laboratory.
