Sedan 1994 professor i livsmedelstoxikologi vid Institutionen för biomedicin och veterinär folkhälsovetenskap, SLU. Tidigare chef vid toxikologiska laboratoriet, Livsmedelsverket; Director vid Reproductive Toxicology, AstraZeneca R&D; forskare vid Institutet för miljömedicin, Karolinska Institutet mm. Mångårig erfarenhet av toxikologisk riskbedömning av miljöföroreningar, naturliga toxiner, livsmedelstillsatser och aromämnen, bland annat som expert vid den europeiska livsmedelsmyndigheten EFSA.

Forskning

Kemiska hälsorisker i livsmedel och dricksvatten.

Utveckling och tillämpning av nya effektbaserade testmetoder för att identifiera kemiska hälsorisker och studera mekanismer för toxicitet.
