Djurmiljö, djurvälfärd och byggnadsfunktion

Kursen behandlar tillämpade aspekter på djurmiljö, byggnadsfunktion och djurvälfärd i djurhållningen. Tonvikten ligger på lantbruksdjur, men även sport- och sällskapsdjur beaktas. Studenterna övar sig i att göra bedömningar och att ge råd kring dessa till olika målgrupper.


Studenterna förbereder och leder seminarier baserade på vetenskapliga artiklar, sammanställer vetenskaplig information och redovisar sammanställt material såväl skriftligt som muntligt. I kursen ingår ett projektarbete som genomförs i grupp. Obligatoriska moment förekommer inom t.ex. övningar, seminarier, projektarbete och studiebesök.
