Ytterligare informationThe course is given as part of the post graduate research school ‘Society and Landscape’ at the Department of Urban and Rural Development, SLU.
Teacher and course-coordinator: Seema Arora-Jonsson.
The course is designed so that you will have individual reading days and one week of intensive classes in Uppsala. During the seminars you are expected to relate to the literature in class discussions, make groups presentations and lead discussions. After this there is individual study or group work, i.e. you are free to develop a joint paper on one of the themes taken up in the class or alternatively write a paper on your own and send it in.
Half to one page description of your work: An important part of the course is for you to be able to develop your thinking in your area of study and to be able to discuss that with the lecturers. In order to facilitate that, you need to send in a description of your research/work and a few lines on what you would like to get from the course. Instructions on what you need to do will be sent out to you once you have applied. Your descriptions will be sent out to the other lecturers as well so that they are familiar with your work when we meet.
